Our approach

Dental veneers in London, planned around your teeth rather than sold as a template.

Our approach to dental veneers starts with careful planning. We assess tooth structure, bite, smile line, facial proportions and long-term oral health before recommending either composite or porcelain.

Where clinically suitable, we keep treatment as conservative as possible. That may mean whitening before veneers, composite instead of porcelain, or fewer veneers than you expected. The aim is a result that looks natural and remains maintainable.

Personalised veneer planning

The number of veneers, material choice and final shape are tailored to your smile goals rather than pushed into a one-size-fits-all package.

Conservative where possible

We preserve natural tooth structure wherever the case allows and explain clearly when porcelain, composite, bonding or whitening would be the more sensible first step.

Natural-looking outcomes

Shade, surface texture and proportions are planned to suit the face and neighbouring teeth, so the result looks polished without looking obvious.

How it works

Your treatment journey, step by step.

1

Initial consultation

A clinical assessment with photos, shade planning and discussion of what you want to change. Digital mock-up or smile preview where helpful.

2

Material choice

Composite suits some patients who want one visit and reversibility. Porcelain suits patients who want a more stain-resistant, longer-lasting ceramic option.

3

Preparation and records

Composite often needs little or no preparation. Porcelain usually needs a small amount of enamel adjustment plus digital scans or impressions for the lab.

4

Fit, finish and review

Your veneers are fitted, bite checked and polished. We review the result and make any fine adjustments needed for comfort and aesthetics.

Porcelain veneers

From £1,095 per tooth. Hand-crafted in a UK lab, very stain-resistant, 10–15 year typical lifespan.

Composite veneers

From £595 per tooth. Placed directly at the appointment, more conservative, 5–7 year typical lifespan, more maintainable.

FAQs

Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know about adult braces in London.

Porcelain veneers are lab-made ceramic shells — stronger, more stain-resistant and longer-lasting, but involve minor tooth preparation and cost more. Composite veneers are sculpted directly from tooth-coloured resin — more conservative, cheaper and easier to maintain, but need refinishing more often.

Porcelain veneers at our London clinic start at £1,095 per tooth. Composite veneers start at £595 per tooth. Most patients have 4, 6, 8 or 10 — your written plan will confirm the total.

Porcelain veneers involve a small amount of enamel reduction (around 0.3–0.7mm). Composite veneers usually require no drilling. With good aftercare the tooth underneath remains healthy — we plan every case to protect the natural tooth.

Porcelain: typically 10–15 years with good hygiene. Composite: typically 5–7 years, with easier repair when needed.

Am I a candidate?

Which veneer is right for you?

Porcelain may suit you if

  • You want maximum longevity and stain resistance
  • You're changing shape/shade across multiple teeth for a uniform smile line
  • You've lived with composite and want to upgrade
  • You're preparing for a milestone (wedding, major life event) and want a “set and forget” result

Composite may suit you better if

  • !You want to try a cosmetic change before committing long-term
  • !Budget is a primary factor this year
  • !You want the most reversible option
  • !You're making a single-tooth or small multi-tooth change

We'll never pressure a porcelain case. If composite is clinically appropriate, we'll say so.

Aftercare & recovery

Looking after veneers

Good aftercare helps both porcelain and composite veneers stay comfortable, clean and aesthetically stable.

  • Avoid biting nails, pens or ice with the front teeth
  • Wear a night guard if you clench or grind at night
  • Brush twice daily with a non-abrasive fluoride toothpaste
  • Floss or use interdental cleaning daily around veneer margins
  • Attend check-ups and hygiene visits so small issues are picked up early
  • Contact us if a veneer chips or debonds — composite may be repaired, while porcelain may need assessment for replacement
