Regular monitoring of development, bite and decay risk from the first tooth.
Fluoride Varnish
Applied twice yearly to strengthen enamel and significantly reduce decay risk.
Fissure Sealants
Protective coating on molar grooves — comfortable, effective and long-lasting.

Personalised brushing and diet guidance for children and parents at every visit.
What to Expect at Your Child's First Visit
No rushing. No pressure. We go at your child's pace — every step of the way.
A Warm Welcome
We greet your child by name, show them around the surgery and let them explore at their own pace — no instruments out yet.
A Ride in the Chair
We make the chair go up and down, show them the light and mirror, and count teeth — building familiarity and trust, not anxiety.
Gentle Check & Advice
We examine teeth and gums, check jaw development and bite, then give you personalised home-care advice for brushing and diet.

Sticker, positive reinforcement, and a plan for next time. We always end on a high — building a lifelong positive relationship with the dentist.

Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about adult braces in London.
We recommend bringing your child within 6 months of their first tooth appearing, or by age 1 — whichever comes first. Early visits focus on building familiarity, monitoring development, and identifying any issues early. These short, positive experiences set the foundation for lifelong dental health.
Tell us at booking and we'll allocate extra time. We start with just a ride in the chair and a count of teeth — no instruments, no pressure. We build up at the child's pace across visits. Familiarity is the goal on visit one, not achievement. Parents and carers are welcome to stay throughout.
Fissure sealants are a thin, protective coating applied to the biting surfaces of back teeth (molars). The deep grooves in these teeth are difficult to clean and highly prone to decay — sealants flow into those grooves and set hard, providing a smooth, easy-to-clean surface. They're quick, comfortable and very effective as a preventive measure.
Fluoride varnish is a concentrated fluoride treatment painted onto teeth at dental visits. It strengthens enamel and significantly reduces the risk of decay. We recommend it for most children — typically twice a year — and apply it as part of routine check-up appointments. It sets quickly and is well tolerated; in line with NHS guidance.
Our children's check-up starts from £47.50 for members (£65 standard). Fissure sealants, fluoride varnish and any treatment are priced separately and confirmed in writing before we do anything. We never proceed without clear pricing agreed first.
Yes — we actively encourage family appointment slots where possible. Booking your check-up at the same time as your child's is convenient, and children who see parents at the dentist without anxiety build much more positive associations with dental visits.
