These Terms govern your use of the Adult Braces London website (https://www.adultbraces.london) and the dental services we provide at 20 Old Brompton Road, South Kensington, SW7 3DL. By using our website or booking treatment with us, you agree to these Terms.
1. About us
Adult Braces London is a private dental practice in London, regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and operated by clinicians registered with the General Dental Council (GDC). You can contact us at info@adultbraces.london or 020 3137 3179.
2. Using our website
- Content on this website is for general information. It is not a substitute for a clinical consultation or professional advice.
- You must not use the website in any way that is unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful, and you must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems.
- All content, branding, images, copy and code are the property of Adult Braces London or our licensors and are protected by UK and international copyright and trade mark law.
3. Bookings and consultations
- Submitting an enquiry form does not create a binding appointment. An appointment is only confirmed once we have contacted you and mutually agreed a date and time.
- All treatment is subject to a written, itemised plan signed by you after a clinical consultation.
- We reserve the right to decline or defer treatment where it would not be clinically appropriate or safe.
4. Cancellations, missed appointments and deposits
- Please give at least 48 hours' notice to reschedule or cancel an appointment.
- Missed appointments or short-notice cancellations may incur a fee equivalent to the reserved chair time, which will be clearly disclosed in your treatment plan.
- For larger treatments we may take a refundable booking deposit. This is applied to your final fee or refunded if we cancel.
5. Fees, payment and finance
- Our standard self-pay prices are published on our pricing page. Prices are in GBP and include VAT where applicable.
- Payment is due at each visit unless an alternative schedule is agreed in writing.
- 0% finance is provided via Tabeo Broker Ltd, authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. Adult Braces London acts as a credit broker, not a lender; credit decisions are made by the lender and are subject to status. Maximum interest-free term 12 months.
- Denplan Excel membership is provided by Denplan Limited under separate terms supplied at sign-up.
6. Clinical outcomes
We take reasonable skill and care in providing treatment. However, results depend on individual biology, lifestyle factors and patient compliance (for example, wearing retainers or attending hygiene visits). We cannot guarantee specific cosmetic or clinical outcomes. Realistic expectations are discussed at consultation.
7. Refunds and complaints
- If you are unhappy with any aspect of your care, please raise it with our principal dentist in the first instance. Most issues can be resolved quickly and locally.
- If you remain dissatisfied, you can escalate to the Dental Complaints Service for private care, or the General Dental Council.
- Refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis in line with UK consumer law and professional standards.
8. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or any liability that cannot be excluded by UK law. Subject to this, our total liability to you in connection with our services is limited to the fees paid for the treatment in question.
9. Third-party links
Our website may link to external sites for convenience. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of third parties.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The most recent version will always be available on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
