Treatment options

Types of Dental Implants

We offer a range of implant solutions to suit different needs and budgets.

Single Tooth Implant

Replace one missing tooth with a titanium implant and porcelain crown. The most common procedure.

Implant Bridge

Replace 3-4 adjacent missing teeth with just 2 implants supporting a bridge. More cost-effective than individual implants.

All-on-4 / All-on-6

Replace a full arch of teeth with just 4-6 strategically placed implants. Often done in a single day.

Immediate Implants

In some suitable cases, an implant can be placed at the time of extraction with a provisional tooth attached. We will only recommend this where the clinical situation allows and will explain any additional risks.

Dr. Kamran Yazdi

Dr. Kamran Yazdi

DDS, MSc Conservative Dentistry (UCL), Dip Oral Dental Science (UCL)

GDC: 197926

Originally from Iran, Dr. Kamran Yazdi was awarded a Doctorate in Dental Surgery (DDS) in 2002. He moved to the UK in 2006 and sat the IQE exam to re-qualify to local regulations. He also completed his postgraduate study in London — a Diploma in Oral Dental Science and an MSc in Conservative Dentistry at the Eastman Dental Hospital (UCL).

Kamran approaches all his treatments in the most conservative way, preserving as much of the natural tooth as possible. He believes that for the majority of problems there is more than one solution and that every patient is unique. As your dentist, his role is to be your trusted adviser — the final decision about treatment is always yours.

How it works

Your treatment journey, step by step.

1

Thorough Planning

We use advanced imaging technology to plan your implant treatment, assessing your bone density, gum health, and surrounding structures. This ensures we can carry out implant surgery in a well-controlled and predictable way.

2

The Surgery

Implant surgery is usually carried out under local anaesthetic. While every patient's experience is different, most report that the procedure is more comfortable than expected.

3

The Restoration Stage

After your implant has integrated with the surrounding bone, we take a dental impression and fit a custom-made porcelain crown that's colour-matched to blend with your natural teeth.

4

Aftercare

After your crown is fitted, we'll schedule you in for follow-up appointments to check everything is settling in well. Most patients can return to their normal routine shortly after the procedure.

FAQs

Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know about adult braces in London.

A single tooth implant (implant + custom porcelain crown) at our London clinic starts from £1,475. Multiple-implant cases and full-arch solutions are priced individually and confirmed in writing after a consultation.

From consultation to final crown is typically 3–6 months, depending on healing and whether bone grafting is needed. The surgical appointment itself is usually under an hour.

Placement is done under local anaesthetic — you'll feel pressure but no pain. Mild discomfort for 2–3 days afterwards is normal, managed with paracetamol and ibuprofen.

Well-placed, well-maintained implants routinely last 25+ years. The implant itself can last a lifetime; the porcelain crown on top may need replacement after 10–15 years.

Am I a candidate?

Are you a candidate for dental implants?

Most healthy adults are good candidates. Here's what we look for.

Ideal candidates

  • Generally healthy adults
  • Non-smokers or willing to quit
  • Good oral hygiene habits
  • Adequate bone density (or suitable for grafting)
  • Controlled diabetes if applicable
  • Committed to aftercare

May need further assessment

  • !Heavy smokers (significantly affects healing)
  • !Uncontrolled diabetes
  • !Recent radiation to head/neck
  • !Certain medications (bisphosphonates)
  • !Severe bone loss (may need grafting first)

These don't necessarily rule out implants. We assess each case individually.

Aftercare & recovery

Dental Implant Aftercare

After dental implant surgery, it is normal to experience mild swelling and tenderness for 3–5 days. Most patients can return to their normal routine shortly after, but following proper aftercare advice is essential for successful healing.

  • Eat soft foods such as soup, yoghurt, and scrambled eggs during the first week
  • Avoid smoking — it significantly increases the risk of implant failure
  • Brush gently around the implant site and use a soft interdental brush once healed
  • Attend all follow-up appointments to monitor healing and osseointegration (typically checked at 3 and 6 months)
  • Maintain good oral hygiene long-term — brush, floss, and attend regular hygiene visits
  • Contact us immediately if you notice increasing pain, swelling, or movement after 2 weeks
