A fixed retainer is a thin wire bonded to the back of your front teeth — invisible from the front, and working 24/7 to stop relapse after orthodontic treatment.
Regular hygiene visits every six months keep the bonding pads clean and spot any issues early. Most patients keep fixed retainers indefinitely.
